Silver squill has the ability to store moisture in its stems during times of drought. In the spring, it grows small green flowers on pink stems emerge from the rosette-shaped foliage.
They require a winter rest period with reduced watering. Cutting down on the water allows the plant to enter its natural dormancy.
The Silver squill requires minimal watering, it is considered to be drought-tolerant, much like succulents.
Let the top part of the soil to dry out before watering in the warmer months.
